For those of you who don't know, the unofficial motto of Google is "Don't Be Evil". Now don't get me wrong, I'm a HUGE Google fan. I have yet to come across a Google service or product I don't like, and I've been following the company since I was in middle school. For those of you who don't know me, that's a long time, especially in computer terms.
Imagine my dismay then, when recently a friend had this as their gchat status message:
"Type "Christianity is" into Google's mainpage search bar. Note the suggested results. Next type "Hinduism is" into the search bar and note the results. Finally type "Islam is" into the search bar and note what happens..." (The ellipsis was followed by a statement I don't really want to be responsible for publishing.)
